All of us (Born-Agains) when we first got saved, from where God drawn us from to make us His children, at the moment accepted and received Christ in our Lives, we had so much love for God, thirst for the Living waters, hungry for the Bread of Life which is the Word, we all had that love for God.

Everyone was in fear for the Lord, some of us were trying to do things in the fear of God, each one of us was as a humble child before the Lord, what ever thing was said, we responded and acted by it, in giving tithes, in giving offerings, in attending services, and many more we did even in more and in love for God. See an example of when someone has just got saved, a young Christian, he ever tries to know new things always, he ever attends the church meetings, ever reads the bible, he does each and everything in the fear of God whether it be good or bad (for he has not yet, known the all truth) even there is no much offence when he does wrong, he repents quicker of what he has known that is wrong and ever he tries to cope up with prayer, keeps himself in the love of God, Even God Himself protects that person much and builds him in His will. I wish and I pray for it that we would be like that and we keep the love for God as at first, even God will love us more and will bless us more.

It is better that you remain a child before God than you fall into sin

But today, look at a person who has just got saved and the one who got saved long time ago (1+ years) there is a difference between the two people, both of them now are saved and they are going to heaven, but there is a difference, mostly old Born- Agains; think that they know almost everything, they keep reluctant in prayer, in attending to the service, they always know that they have heard enough preaching and have enough from God, But none is a proffesional before God.

All that has happened but there is still chance for a Change

In the Word, the Lord is declaring; Israel is my son, Ex 4:22, God is claiming for you and me that means He loved us even before the foundations of the world were laid, and we are His sons and daughters, He wants you to come back, from were you have fallen God wants you back, for He says; Come back My son, Come to me (Mk 11:25)  Go not into destruction, The Lord wants you to come back, Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.(2Tim 2:7) now in Hos 11:1 the Lord is saying; when Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt. When we were just got saved the Lord loved us, and we also loved the Lord, but it is now that we have to MAINTAIN THAT LOVE AND FEARING GOD, and the relationship we had with GOD, to serve the Lord your God with all your hearts and fear, to do the will of God, to Love God even with more Love than the first love when you first got saved. Then blessings of the Lord will come to you as rain for you have considered and loved your God again. 

For God remembers you and knows you!

Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown. Jer 2:2, the Lord has sent me, to tell you that, He remembers you, the Kindness of your youth (spiritual youth), the times when you used more of your effort work for God and doing all things to His glory, the Lord Remembers you. He is declaring; I know your deeds (works) and your toil (labour) and perseverance (patience), and that you cannot tolerate evil men, and you put to the test those who call themselves apostles, and they are not, and you found them to be false; and you have perseverance and have endured for My name's sake, and have not grown weary. 'But I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Rev 2:2-4. All these things the Lord knows and that you have done good works, laboured so much, you have been patient always, you have forsaken and also fled that which is of the devil, trying to do all things in righteous. But the Lord is more concerned of the first love, which you had at first so try to restore it back that you love the Lord your God again with the fullness of your heart, mind, soul and the heart.

Restoring back the First Love

'Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds (works) you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lamp stand out of its place--unless you repent. Rev 2:5 Repent where you have fallen and do the works, which you were doing at first. 'Therefore repent; or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of My mouth. 'Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds. Rev 2:16 'So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you. Rev 3:3 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent. Says the Lord, Rev 3:19
